This is a new guideline from Nice advising that empagliflozin can now be used in the treatment of CKD. It was published in December 2023.
Dapagliflozin was recommended by Nice for the treatment of CKD back in 2022. It was updated in July 25 to bring the criteria for use in line with that of empagliflozin.
