What our members are saying
"I was introduced to the local locum chambers several months ago when I made a career move from partnership. I now combine salaried and locum roles. The chambers provides helpful support, leadership, advice and governance and reduces professional isolation. This combination of support reassures me and helps me provide safe and consistent care to patients within the community . There is a useful, innovative online portal - LocumDeck - which helps me access local work and which has efficient systems for reconciliation of finance including pensions. I would highly recommend joining a locum chambers for any GPs starting out in the locum world ."
"LocumDeck has been a very useful platform for me as I have only started being a GP locum from March this year. The transition from salaried GP to GP locum was smooth for me due to LocumDeck. It has been a very useful platform for me to get bookings and also to keep on top of the administrative side including invoices. It is very easy to manage my availability and terms and conditions which otherwise would be a difficult matter for a GP locum to go through during each booking. I also have used the FAQ section for help with pensions and other issues with GP locum work and have found this very useful. "
"Thank you for many years of help and support in an increasingly difficult job as a sessional GP in the NHS."
"Once we tried LocumDeck there was no going back. The platform has reduced the amount of admin time spent engaging and booking GP locums. It's been great to have all of the HR checks available in one place: no need to recruit new or to send out endless mailings to a group of trusted GP locums to see their availability."
"Your platform is such a pleasure to use – so easy and clear to navigate. I am already excited as having published shifts today three hours ago and already had four GPs requesting to fill them. I can see all their qualifications and any questions they have.
I have worked in workforce and temporary staffing roles for ages and had numerous interactions with agencies. LocumDeck is so much better than any other booking systems I have used before."
"I have already managed to get some locum sessions via LocumDeck and I have now been generating invoices with ease by using the online system. It has been amazing! It is great to have all your paperwork in one place and this makes life easier for the practices as well as for yourself."
"I was delighted to have been invited to join GP locum chambers. I enjoy great peer support from my colleagues via our monthly meetings, which has been helpful to me discussing some specific things that arise with GP locum working. I have found LocumDeck really straightforward to use and immensely helpful; in particular invoicing and the pension forms A and B has cut down my admin time dramatically, which I’m pleased about. The support from NASGP's membership support manager, is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend NASGP chambers to anyone working or thinking of working as a GP locum."
