Nurses, HCAs and the wider GP practice team can use LocumDeck too.

In 2021, we expanded LocumDeck to include nurses, nursing associates, and healthcare assistants, alongside GP locums. Through local partnerships, we support nurses, HCAs, and practices across multiple ICBs in the South and East of England. In 2023, we further extended LocumDeck to cover general practice administrators and receptionists, and we’ve partnered with NHS Gloucestershire ICB to pilot this new module.

Now that NASGP’s LocumDeck is an approved supplier on the NHS Digital Suppliers Framework, ICBs can now partner with us to set up flexible pools.

We work with six different ICBs to improve local relationships between practices and GPs. In our partnerships we see:

  • Typical ICB locum fill rates of up to 92%.
  • Some 90% practice engagement across partnership areas, with 100% in established areas.
  • NASGP GPs working up to 1,000 sessions per month per ICB.
