GP locums can now work with over 2,000 GP practices in the UK on LocumDeck after the independent booking system saw its total reach new heights last week.
The system’s 2000th GP practice client signed up to use the system in the first weekend of September, giving GPs and practice managers a sense of confidence ahead of autumn and winter this year.
LocumDeck already covers all practices in the UK, as locums can add a practice manually to share invoices and pension forms with them via the platform. But this milestone figure shows that a huge proportion of the UK’s practices are active LocumDeck users. (GP Online puts the total for England at 7,435 GP practices in 2017, likely much lower now).
