What does ‘SD’ stand for?
‘SD’ stands for Superannuation Division.
It is also known as the NHS Pensions Scheme reference number.
You can find your SD number on any correspondence sent to you from NHS pensions, on some payslips and your online Total Reward Statement
Your SD number is an eight digit figure and starts SD.
If you can’t find your SD number, you can call the NHS pensions helpline on 0300 330 1346.
What do I do with my SD number?
Once you have your SD number, add it to your settings in NASGP’s LocumDeck – our booking platform for GP locums and practices.
It will automatically populate all your Locum Form A and Form Bs every month, along with your invoices.
