There are 14 deaneries in England where GP registrars can be based:
- Defence Postgraduate Medical Deanery
- East of England Multi-Professional Deanery
- East Midlands Healthcare Workforce
- The KSS Postgraduate Deanery
- London Deanery
- Mersey Deanery
- Northern Deanery
- North Western Deanery
- Oxford Multi-Professional Deanery
- Severn Deanery
- South West Peninsula Deanery
- Wessex Deanery
- NHS West Midlands Workforce Deanery (north and south)
- Yorkshire and Humber Deanery
(KSS stands for Kent, Surrey and Sussex).
North Western Deanery is sometimes know as NW Deanery, and Yorkshire and Humber Deanery is sometimes referred to simply as Yorkshire Deanery.
Deaneries in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland
In NI and Wales there are one per nation: Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency and Wales Deanery.
Up in Scotland there are just four!
