NASGP handbook – ‘Thriving as a GP locum’
Our newly-revised GP locum handbook has been developed over several years to be the ultimate guide to working successfully as a GP locum. Downloaded more than 10,000 times, this 40-page document gives you everything you need to know to set up and work efficiently.
GP locum skills and how to achieve them
As a specialist area of GP practice, working as a GP locum requires its own set of skills. We have developed a curriculum of training to equip locums and enable them to work safely and deliver their work well.
Remote consulting handbook
Maximise the opportunities of remote consultations whilst ensuring the safety of your patients. Together with two GP colleagues Abby Hyams and Zubair Ahmed, Dr Adam Abbs has put together an extensive handbook to help GPs work remotely, and have made this available to NASGP members and the wider GP community to help you through this new way of working.
"Thank you for the service you have provided while I have been a member over the last few years. I have found the website and sessional magazine very helpful during my time as a locum."
