When can we use tirzepatide?
We can use tirzepatide in adults if all of the following criteria are met:
- They have a BMI of 35 or more (or 32.5 if they are from South Asian, Chinese, other Asian, Middle Eastern, Black African or African-Caribbean ethnic backgrounds) AND have
- At least one weight related co-morbidity AND
- It is used alongside a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.
