As part of the new GP Retention Programme in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West, NASGP are working with local GP locums and Training Hubs to build a home for flexible GPs, connecting them with practices, peers and essential local information, including pre-launch meetings held in early November 2019.
To date, over 60 local locums have signed up to register an interest.
Powered by NASGP’s LocumDeck, GP locums will be able to join a locum chamber near to them. As a member of your local chamber, you will set your own rates, choose where you work, retain your self-employed status, working in a way that you choose, alongside other locum colleagues with all the friendly, professional and administrative support of a chamber.
We believe this is a unique opportunity for locums living and/or working in the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West area to benefit from a fully integrated and holistic system of support, and NASGP are proud and excited to be part of such an enlightened initiative which is all about supporting GP locums to support practices and improve patient care.
Launching December 2019
If you’d like to register an interest, be involved in setting up and running one of these chambers, or want to be kept updated, please add your details to this form and we’ll keep you posted about key milestones and opportunities to meet and be part of how each chamber will operate.
