This is a new guideline from NICE on managing otitis media with effusion (ie glue ear) in the under 12s. It was published in Aug 2023.
This guideline doesn’t cover the management of acute or chronic otitis media. See my blog from last year for the management of acute otitis media.
Some of this guideline is more aimed at secondary care, but some of it is very relevant to us too.
