This is a statement from the FSRH advising that Sayana Press is now licensed for self-injection.
This is likely to be really popular with some women and to reduce the likelihood of missed or late injections.
Patients need training on how to use it and need to have their first self administration observed. They will need a sharp’s bin too. They can then be sent home with 3 jabs – i.e enough for a year.
