GPs who pay tax on account have two weeks to pay their next bill.
Self-assessment taxpayers have until midnight on Monday 31 July to make their second ‘payment on account’ instalment, although payments can take up to five days to process.
Self-assessment taxpayers are usually those self-employed for at least a year, with bills over £1000 who have not yet paid all tax owed.
