Practice admin staff

The NASGP is a voluntary, not-for-profit membership organisation run entirely by and for sessional GPs.

We were founded in 1997 to make sure the voice of salaried and locum GPs could be heard independently of GP partners, yet work together to improve patient care. NASGP membership helps us to continue raising the profile of general practice by supporting sessional GPs and the practices we work in.

As a practice admin staff member, you will have access to your practice's Standardised Practice Information Portal (Spip) to access all your practices guidelines, policies and procedures and, if you've been assigned 'editor' status, to help keep it up to date too.


Only use this option if you have already received an invitation from your practice's LocumDeck account holder. If your practice doesn't yet have a LocumDeck account, and are a staff member with permission to set up your practice's LocumDeck, head over to join as a 'Practice Manager'.
