LocumDeck adds policy docs and practice info features

GP practices can now upload policy documents and add key practice information on LocumDeck, thanks to new user-generated features.

  • New functionality allowing practices to manage practice policy information in the form of PDF documents and web links. This includes a new indexing system to allow the quick finding and grouping of information, and GP locums are now able to see each practice’s policy information within each practice’s record.
  • Practices to show key information for GP locums working at the practice in each practice’s record on LocumDeck and in booking confirmation emails.

In 2022, LocumDeck developers added dozens of user-generated improvements to LocumDeck, including GP set-up guides and two-way testimonials.

There are now over 4,100 active GP members and over 3,500 practice contacts on LocumDeck across the UK.

We’re celebrating our brilliant year by making a donation to Health Poverty Action on behalf of members, practices and the whole team at NASGP: read more.

"NASGP came along way before people understood the need for sessional and small group practices to be valued by the system. On joining as a single-handed GP many years ago, I was welcomed into the team by initially wrote a few blogs for the organisation, which followed my understanding of yet another NHS reorganisation. It was only due to the vision and drive of Richard, your founder, that NASGP survived the large practice dominance. The inception of being a portal for the needs of GP locums was a masterstroke. Those who knew about it quickly realised the true meaning of networking. So here we are many years down the line and in footballing terminology NASGP now play in the Premier League.
"Well done to all as this is a just reward for the loyalty, dedication and hard work of your team. I have fond memories of working with NASGP and would urge every practice, large or small, to join this organisation, there are only gains and no losses."
