For over a decade now, instead of writing Christmas cards to all sessional GP groups across the UK, we’ve instead been donating money to overseas charities who focus predominantly on improving healthcare to those most in need. And for the second year running we’re supporting Health Poverty Action, who this Christmas are raising funds to supply and maintain donkey ambulances to bring pregnant mothers from remote rural communities to clinics for health checks and even delivery of their new babies.
