GP locums ‘due Covid-19 vaccination by mid-February’, health secretary says

The health secretary has promised that all NHS workers will be vaccinated against Covid-19, Pulse reports.

NHS England has published a letter setting out an ‘immediate’ requirement for all health and social care staff to receive vaccinations.

The letter specifically states that ‘temporary, locum or “bank” staff’ need the jab too.

The health secretary’s pledge follows strong campaigning by the BMA on the issue.

But GP locums have reported delays and problems with access that GP locums have faced while looking for appointments. Read more on NASGP.org.uk.

"I think the Spip and Cudos tool both have a very positive future and fulfil a real need."
