NASGP launches April endometriosis event

GPs can attend a clinical update on endometriosis 1-2pm on Thursday 6 April as part of NASGP’s free ‘first Thursdays’ events series.

Mr Mohamed Mabrouk, consultant gynaecologist at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, will present a GP update on this common and often debilitating condition.

Mr Mabrouk is a consultant and minimal access reproductive surgeon, with special interests in endometriosis and advanced endoscopic surgery.

Currently he is co-director of the Cambridge Endometriosis Centre, Cambridge University Hospitals and director of Cambridge EndoCare Endometriosis Centre at the Spire Lea Hospital in Cambridge.

The event is the latest in a series of NASGP’s lunchtime webinars for GP locums, held on the first Thursday of every month.

Last September Dr Helen Garr, clinical lead at NHS Practitioner Health, presented on signs and symptoms of burnout in GPs, and how GP locums can prevent burnout at work.

Watch the videos of our past speakers including Dr Tony Downs on skin cancer and Dr Tina Peers on menopause on Knowledgebase.

Join our event on Thursday 6 April 2023

We'll send you the link in a reminder on the day.

"I regret not having joined earlier!!!"

Dr Maria Tome, GP
