Sessional GPs can learn advanced practice tips about risk management in the first of a new series of CPD webinars from NASGP.

dr emma greenThe first in the series will be Dr Emma Green on risk management for GP locums.

Dr Green will present two case-based lessons about how to handle complaints.

Dr Richard Fieldhouse, NASGP chair, will also ask:

  • Can a practice refuse to tell a locum the nature of a complaint?
  • Can a practice refuse to show a locum a letter of complaint?
  • At what point should locums contact the MDO about a complaint?
  • What local groups can support me during a complaints process?

You can add your own questions for Dr Green during the session.

Dr Green has been a medicolegal consultant at MPS for six years and has extensive experience in negligence claims in general practice alongside experience in disciplinary and regulatory cases. Dr Green is also currently undertaking a secondment in underwriting.
