Sessional GPs can report anonymously on the pressures they face, and their goals for their career as part of a new NASGP survey.
The NASGP has launched a new two-minute anonymous survey to find out what GPs need to make the most of their work over the next 12 months.
The five questions cover:
- How much longer you plan to keep practising.
- What your career priorities are for 2023.
- How pressures on the GP workforce have affected your careers.
Dr Richard Fieldhouse, NASGP chair, said: “GP locums can work in anything up to 40 different practices per year, often supporting under-resourced, struggling practices, occasionally even practices that are underperforming or are in special measures.
“So for those of us that have chosen to work in salaried roles or as GP locums, whether through an active choice or because we have found it too much of a struggle working as a partner or as a salaried GP, this survey aims to explore our plans and the pressures we are under.
“It’s a very quick survey and should only take a minute or two and we fully appreciate any GP who is able to respond.”
Our survey is now closed.
