These are short and worth a read – there are useful summaries on the back pages. They encourage screening men and women at risk of sexual problems and advise when checking testosterone is useful (which is our job). It explains how to interpret results (also our job). Treatment is detailed, but CKS advises referral to endocrinology if hypogonadism in men is suspected and the BNF advises that testosterone use should be under ‘specialist supervision’.
