answer is obvious. Unfortunately, by not receiving it, we're loosing out on
perhaps the simplest means of producing audit both for our own CPD and to
provide as essential evidence in clinical governance and revalidation. So the
NASGP has set out to get it. I've copied below the letter which we have today
sent to the DoH to get the bal rolling. Watch this space: 19/9/99 The NASGP's new postcode Please note the NASGP's postcode has changed from PO19 2ZA to PO19 1FP. The full address is as follows: PO BOX 188, Chichester, West Sussex PO19 1FP.

12/7/99 Free Personal Learning Portfolio for all UK non-principals The NASGP will shortly be distributing
a free pocket-sized "Filofax" Personal Learning Portfolio to all 7,500 GPs
working as non-principals in the UK. This project has been funded by the
Department of Health through the Medical Education Unit of the NHS Executive
and is entitled "Striving for Quality". The personal learning portfolio was
commissioned by the NHS Executive after the NASGP had expressed their concerns
relating to the provision of, and access to, continuing medical education for
non-principals, particularly in the light of the compulsory nature of both
clinical governance and, more recently, revalidation. 1/6/99 New postal address for membership applications If you are applying to join the NASGP or if your membership is due for renewal, we now have a new postal address for membership applications, printed below.
