The
remit of the CPD Board is to advise the Education
Committee on co-ordinating the provision of CPD. The Board will not be ‘approving’ CPD programmes
or providing them. Rather,
the Education Committee envisages that one of the first
tasks of the CPD Board will be to develop a CPD framework which
pulls together all the guidance which already exists on CPD
and to provide one set of underpinning principles across the
profession.
So,
we're going to have to trawl through a lot of paperwork and
seeking member's views once the Board becomes established.
If you feel you can help, we'd love to hear from you.
If there is more we can do to improve this CPD section,
please send us your
ideas.
