The November 2008 edition of RCGP news gives a good account: Some comments from members: "Doing it first time was laborious and took ages, but I think once we are used to how to judge the credits it will be easier. My main concern for locums is that you can easily double your credits from a single educational meeting by demonstrating that you have implemented a change on an organisational level based on what you have learnt e.g. by adjusting a template or setting up a clinic. This theoretically means we would need more time in educational meetings to make up the shortfall, and we obviously are not paid if we are not working a clinical session, as opposed to our salaried and partner colleagues."
